What you get
Six things the Open Pilot gives you
Participating organisations receive tailored evaluation kits, technical support and guidance — with the emphasis on hands-on experimentation rather than paperwork.
Access to the tools
Selected HEALTH-ER tools and services, including the AI-based SOCaaS, detection modules and self-assessment guidelines, deployed against your own environment.
A technical plan for your organisation
Support in producing a cybersecurity and resilience roadmap tailored to your operational, financial and regulatory context — not a generic template.
Preparedness assessment
A structured view of your digital maturity, existing controls, staff awareness and compliance position against NIS2, GDPR and the Cyber Resilience Act.
Training and cyber-range exercises
Cyber-hygiene courses for clinical staff, advanced material for technical teams, and realistic scenarios covering ransomware and attacks on connected medical equipment.
Benchmarking against peers
See how your readiness compares with other European providers, in a collaborative learning community rather than a league table.
A route into European policy
Your feedback shapes the framework, and the evidence feeds into the EU Action Plan on Cybersecurity of Hospitals and Healthcare Providers.
How it works
Four steps, no obligation
- 1
Register your interest
The form below takes a couple of minutes. Nothing is committed at this stage.
- 2
A conversation
The Open Pilot team, run by HOPE and EYD, will get in touch to understand your environment and what would be most useful.
- 3
Scope and onboarding
Together we agree which tools and services fit, what data is involved, and what the evaluation looks like. Any data processing is covered by a written agreement.
- 4
Hands-on evaluation
You test in your own environment with technical support, take part in training, and contribute feedback that refines the tools.
Expression of interest
Tell us about your organisation
This is not an application to be judged. It tells the Open Pilot team what would be most useful to you, so the conversation starts in the right place.
